The Vaisala DRYCAP dew point transmitter DMT143 is a compact and lightweight dew point transmitter suitable for various OEM applications. The transmitter is easy to install and its structural design protects against dust, dirt, and water splashes, allowing it to be used in harsh environments. The DMT143 uses a DRYCAP polymer sensor to measure the dew point. DRYCAP technology requires minimal maintenance due to its excellent long-term condensation resistance and durability. The DMT143 calibration interval is 2 years.
Basic Functions and Options
Dew point measurement range -60 to +60 °C (-76 to +140 °F).
Dew point measurement accuracy up to ±2 °C (±5.4 °F)T (in air or N2).
Operating pressure range 0 to 50 bar (0 to 725 psia)
Configurable for optimal dew point measurement accuracy:
- Dew point measurement in SF6 or air.
- Pressure compensation (fixed pressure setting or pressure input via RS-485 in real time)
Analog output: One output channel, selectable from:
- 0...1V
- 0...5V
- 1...5V
- 4...20 mA
Digital output: RS-485 (non-isolated).
LEDs for dew point level alarms and transmitter diagnostics.
DRYCAP polymer sensor:
- Automatic calibration ensures accuracy under changing measurement conditions
- Sensor heating function keeps the sensor dry in high-humidity environments,
- Sensor chemical cleaning ensures long-term stability.
- NIST traceable (certificate included)
Can be checked in the field with the DM70 handheld dew point meter,
