An electronic drain valve is a device used to automatically drain condensate, wastewater, and other liquids from pipes or equipment. It has a wide range of applications in many fields.
Working Principle
Electronic drain valves typically operate on principles such as float, electrode, or liquid level sensor. Taking the float type as an example, when the water level in the container rises, the float rises with it, driving the connected linkage mechanism. When the water level rises to a certain height, the linkage mechanism triggers a microswitch, causing the drain solenoid valve to open and begin draining. When the water level drops to a certain level, the float drives the linkage mechanism to reset, and the microswitch closes the solenoid valve, stopping the drainage. The electrode type detects the water level by detecting the conductivity of the liquid. When the water level contacts the electrode, the circuit is closed, triggering the drainage action. The liquid level sensor type uses the sensor to accurately measure the liquid level height, transmits the signal to the controller, and the controller controls the opening and closing of the drain valve according to the set value.
Structural Composition
It is mainly composed of a valve body, valve core, electromagnetic coil, float (or electrode, liquid level sensor), and controller. The valve body is the outer shell of the drain valve, usually made of corrosion-resistant material. The valve core is used to control the opening and closing of the drainage channel. The electromagnetic coil generates magnetic force when energized to drive the valve core to move. The float, electrode, or liquid level sensor is used to detect the water level signal. The controller receives the sensor signal and controls the energization and de-energization of the electromagnetic coil according to the preset water level value, thereby realizing the function of automatic drainage.
