Structural Composition
Valve body: Usually made of cast iron, cast steel, or stainless steel, it has good corrosion resistance and strength, and can adapt to different working environments.
Butterfly plate: It is a key component of the electric butterfly valve, generally disc-shaped, installed in the valve body, and controls the on/off and flow rate of the fluid by rotation.
Valve stem: Connects the butterfly plate and the driving device, transmits torque, and allows the butterfly plate to accurately rotate to the required position.
Electric actuator: Composed of an electric motor, reducer, transmission device, and position sensor, etc., it receives control signals, drives the valve stem to rotate, achieves precise control of the butterfly plate, and feeds back the position information of the butterfly plate.
Working Principle
The electric butterfly valve drives the valve stem through the electric actuator, causing the butterfly plate to rotate around the axis in the valve body. When the butterfly plate rotates to a position perpendicular to the pipeline axis, the valve closes, preventing fluid from passing through; when the butterfly plate rotates to a position parallel to the pipeline axis, the valve is fully open, and the fluid can pass through smoothly. By controlling the rotation angle of the electric actuator, the opening of the butterfly plate can be precisely adjusted, thereby achieving control of the fluid flow rate.
Performance Characteristics
Electric butterfly valves have advantages such as simple structure, small size, light weight, convenient operation, and rapid opening and closing.
