Details
Carbon molecular sieves are primarily composed of carbon and are adsorbents with a rich microporous structure. Their internal micropores are uniformly and narrowly sized, typically at the nanometer level, allowing for efficient separation of different components in gas mixtures based on differences in molecular size, shape, and polarity. For example, in the air separation process for nitrogen production, it can preferentially adsorb oxygen molecules, utilizing the slight difference in size between oxygen and nitrogen molecules, allowing nitrogen to be enriched and exit, thus achieving efficient nitrogen preparation.
Carbon molecular sieves possess numerous advantages. They have a large specific surface area, reaching hundreds of square meters per gram or even higher, exhibiting strong adsorption capacity. Simultaneously, they possess good thermal and chemical stability, maintaining structural and performance stability at higher temperatures and in complex chemical environments, and are not easily reactive with common chemicals. These characteristics allow carbon molecular sieves to be widely used in numerous fields, including industrial gas production, environmental protection, and energy. Juko Air Separation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has certain technical strength and market reputation in the air separation equipment field; its carbon molecular sieves may have advantages in performance and quality, meeting the needs of different customers.
