I. Working Principle

The KCD combined low-dew-point compressed air dryer integrates the advantages of refrigeration dryers and adsorption dryers. Through scientifically reasonable pipeline connections and capacity matching, it achieves a highly efficient air drying process.

High-temperature, high-humidity compressed air from the compressor first enters the heat exchanger, where it undergoes heat exchange with the already dried low-temperature compressed air to initially lower the temperature. Next, the air enters the evaporator, where most of the gaseous water condenses into liquid water and is discharged outside the machine through a drainage device. The compressed air with very low humidity after preliminary dehumidification then enters the adsorption cylinder, where the adsorbent performs deep drying and dehumidification to obtain finished air with a lower dew point. Finally, the low-temperature dried compressed air re-enters the heat exchanger, cooling the incoming high-temperature, high-humidity air and raising its own temperature. This prevents condensation outside the delivery pipeline and uses a small portion of the warmed compressed air for adsorbent regeneration, effectively improving regeneration efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

II. Performance Parameters

Operating Pressure:

The standard operating pressure range is 0.6 - 0.8Mpa, and equipment with an operating pressure of 1.0 - 3.0Mpa can also be provided according to the company's special needs.

Inlet Air Temperature:

The inlet air temperature must be below 45℃ to ensure normal operation and high drying efficiency of the equipment.

Cooling Method:

Both water cooling and air cooling methods are available. Companies can choose according to their actual operating conditions and environmental conditions.
